Isle Poker Classic Event #7 (Day 1A): Staffan Lind Returns To Action, Looking To Make Up For Some Lost Tournament Time

2018 Isle Poker Classic (Event #7)
$1,100 No Limit Hold'em Main Event
$200,000 GTD
Level 2 (Blinds 100/100/100)
Total Day 1A Entries: 26

Staffan Lind (Vero Beach, FL) was a fixture in the larger buy-in events here at the Isle Poker Room, and after being off the radar for 2018, he's in play this afternoon.

There are certain tournaments throughout the year, that are going to bring out players that haven't been spotted in a while.  Staffan Lind (Vero Beach, FL) make a big splash in the tournament poker scene, recording his first result in February of 2014 (WSOP Circuit at Palm Beach Kennel Club).  Over the next three years, Lind earned a combined $220,000 in tournament cashes, spread over (22) results.  Staffan was making the most of his tournament cashes, with more than half of his results over $5,000, seven of which were five-figure scores.

The volume has been way down for Staffan in 2018, as he's recorded just one cash, bubbling a final table during February's WSOP Circuit at Coconut Creek.  Since 2014, Lind hasn't had a year with less than $43,000 in earnings, but it looks like that streak is going to be snapped.  Staffan is going to need a final table run in this tournament to match that number, with only $787 in cashes for 2018.  Regardless of result, it's good to see Lind back in action, as he sets his focus on his first major Isle Poker trophy.
