Sunday, February 7th: Should Breaking Records Even Be A Surprise Anymore...Tournaments At The Isle Are Crushing!

ICYMI: Saturday's tournament had been known as the best value event on the weekly schedule, offering up sizable prize pools for a $100 buy-in.  For a span of a few months, the tournament carried a $3,000 guarantee, and consistently surpassed that number.  The poker room management team recognized that, and decided to make things even more attractive...making the guarantee $5,000.

Tournaments: With the success of the "Weekend Swing," it was only a matter of time before we saw a new addition to the weekly tournament schedule.  At 6:00pm this evening, we will see the introduction of a $150 No Limit Hold'em "Double Green Chip Bounty" event, which carries a $5,000 guarantee!  The tournament is structured with 15,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and open registration through Level 8 (and the short break that follows).  There will be a $50 bounty awarded for each player elimination, adding a little incentive you knock out your table-mate.

ICYMI: There are no official results to report this morning, but we do have an announcement that would make tournament players pretty happy!  Beginning this Thursday (January 21st), there is an addition to the "Weekend Swing" (we may even need to change to catchy name), as bounty tournament enters the ring.  The $150 No Limit Hold'em "Bounty" (Double Green Chip) carries with it a $5,000 guaranteed prize pool, rivaling the "original" (Friday night's $150 No Limit Hold'em $5,000 GTD).
