Isle Classic Event #10 (Day 2): Santana Busts Yet Another, As Tony Valiente Exits In 13th Place ($2,595)

2017 Isle Classic | Event #10
$360 No Limit Hold'em ($200,000 GTD)
Level 25 (Blinds 15,000/30,000/4,000)
Total Event #10 Entries: 679
Event #10 Players Remaining: 12

Tony Valiente (Coconut Grove, FL) fell victim to Santana Noronha as well, eliminated just a few hands after Raymond Roberty.

The Event #10 field is only two eliminations away from the final table, as Santana Noronha eliminates another short stack.  After Raymond Roberty's exit, Tony Valiente would be left the shortest player in the field, sitting with just over twelve big blinds.  Valiente got his remaining chips in with A 6 against the K♠ Q of Noronha, and although he was ahead, watched as Santana out flopped him to grab the lead.  The K♣ 8 6♣ flop did hit both players, but Tony needed to find help on the turn or river to survive.  Neither street brought help to Valiante, who exited the tournament area to collect his 13th place money ($2,595).

Santana Noronha - 1,200,000 (40bb)
Tony Valiente - Eliminated in 13th place ($2,595)
