Isle Classic Event #10 (Day 2): Looks Like Bitcoin Is Working For Gozlan As Well

2017 Isle Classic | Event #10
$360 No Limit Hold'em ($200,000 GTD)
Level 18 (Blinds 3,000/6,000/500)
Total Event #10 Entries: 679
Event #10 Players Remaining: 66

Nissim Gozlan (Plantation, FL) keeps an encased "Bitcoin" on top of his chips, and looks like the good luck charm is working this afternoon.

Passing Table 3, Nissim Gozlan (Plantation, FL) would shove all-in for 56,000 from middle position, leaving his "Bitcoin" card protector on top of his chips.  "The coin isn't part of the pot," Gozlan would say with a smile, which turned to a look of disappointment moments later.  TK Miles called from the big blind, and quickly turned over A♠ A.  Gozlan was behind with J J♠, and immediately stood up to report the bad luck to his friend Gil Jagar at the next table.  The dealer would run out a board of 10 46♠ Q J, giving Gozlan a set on the river, and the miracle river double-up.  While still under the chip average, Nissim is now over 100,000, with the field only a handful of spots from the money.

Nissim Gozlan - 117,000 (19bb)
TK Miles - 35,000 (5bb)
