We are now one level into Day 2, with the field losing just under (40) players in the first sixty minutes. Maurice Hawkins (Plantation, FL) was one of those to be eliminated from the Day 2 field, unable to spin up that Day 2 entry. On the other side of the spectrum, we have Battles At The Beach Event 8 winner Michael Amato (Delray Beach, FL), who has almost tripled his Day 2 starting stack. Amato started the afternoon with 84,400, and after only an hour, he is now sitting with 230,000. It's not uncommon for one player to really "take over" a series, so a close eye will be kept on his progress throughout the day.
