Sunday, March 5th: It's Battles At The Beach Main Event "Moving Day"

On the structure sheet for Event 14 ($1,500 No Limit Hold'em Main Event $500,000 GTD), it states that Monday (March 6th) will be Day 3 (if necessary).  There will be no question whether a Day 3 will be necessary, as (148) players return (in addition to those who buy-in this afternoon) for this afternoon's Day 2.  With the level length transitioning to (60) minutes for the rest of the event, it shouldn't come as a surprise if we're looking at today as more of a "moving day," similar to the way the term is used in golf.

The tournament resumes at 12:00pm with blinds of 1,000/2,000/300, with a chip average (97,000) close to (50) big blinds.  The play is super deep, and the quality of play is very high amongst those still remaining, so we should be in for a long two days ahead of us (dare we say possibly three long days).  Live coverage of Day 2 begins the moment the cards are in the air, and will continue through the bagging process to end the day.  The tournament will not be won this afternoon/evening, but a lot of what happens over the course of the next twelve hours will help determine who does win.
