It looked as if Ariel Williams (Miami, FL) was going to bag the bonus, as she led the field with it's impending conclusion right around the corner.  That was until it was announced that Nick Persad (Delray Beach, FL) had 278,000, with surpassed Ariel's stack of 237,000.  Persad earns himself $500 for the chip leading effort, which is almost $200 more than his career tournament earnings.  Persad had one cash on his Hendon Mob, which came here at the Isle Poker Room in 2015.  

The dealers and tournament staff are currently wrapping up the bagging process, with the official chip counts to follow.  This will conclude "live coverage" of Flight 1G, with things to pick back up tomorrow at 12:00pm, for Day 2 of this "June $50,000 GTD."  The Flight 1H field already has over (207) entries, and with the addition of what's expected to be the largest flight of the nine...we could be looking at a potential $90,000 prize pool!!!
