Saturday, June 10th: Guarantee Going To Be Crushed, Final Three $50,000 GTD Flights On Tap

ICYMI: As one would expect, everything was a little "bigger" yesterday, in regards to the "June $50,000 GTD" event.  After a total of (402) entries on Thursday, the trio of Friday flights attracted an impressive (516) entries.  Flight 1D had (150) entries, with (20) players bagging chips for tomorrow's Day 2, led by James Scott (Pembroke Pines, FL) with 326,300.  Flight 1E had a total of (146) entries, with (19) players bagging chips for Day 2, led by Andrew Davis with 314,800.  And last but not least, we had Flight 1F at night, which had (221) total entries.  That final flight of the day saw (28) players manage to reach the bagging process, led by Lisa Teebagy (339,900).

The thing to note about this tournament coming into the day, is the fact that the prize pool is currently just a few thousand dollars away from the $50,000 guarantee that was posted.  We've been saying that the number should land somewhere between $60,000-$70,000 once the registration closes on Flight 1I, but it could land even higher.  

Tournaments: There are three more flights on today's schedule for the $75 No Limit Hold'em "June Guarantee," starting at 11:00am with Flight 1G.  The same structure applies from the last six flights, with players who bust the morning flight able to enter either Flight 1H at 3:00pm, or Flight 1I at 7:00pm.

Promotions: The high hand promotions take another "breather" today, between yesterday's (11) hours worth of "turbo" high hands, tomorrow's (7) hours of $300 high hands (awarded every 15 minutes).  The "standard high hand" procedure is in place, awarded prizes to qualifying high hands every (30) minutes (with rollovers).

- Players will start with 15,000 in tournament chips

- Late and re-entries for the first (8) levels
