The bagging process wrapped up just after 1:30am, with (47) players looking to get some rest, before returning this afternoon (12:00pm).
With all of the flights then finished, the official numbers for Event 1 of the 2017 Florida State Poker Championships were in. The tournament attracted a total of (1,594) entries, which equated to a prize pool of $223,160 (well over double the posted guarantee). There will be (216) players returning a 12:00pm this afternoon, all looking to their hands on the $35,306 first place prize. Things will be moving at a rapid pace once the cards get back in the air, as the money bubble will occur within the first level or two of the day (200 spots getting paid).

Tournaments: As mentioned above, Day 2 of Event 1 gets underway of 12:00pm, and will play down to a winner or until a deal is made, whichever comes first. After four days of Event 1 flights, the second event of the series is on today's schedule, with the $100 No Limit Hold'em "Big Stack Turbo Bounty" ($5,000 GTD) getting underway at 6:00pm.
Promotions: The weekend continues today with "turbo high hands" from 8:00am-9:00pm. The promotion is broken down into two periods, with $100 awarded every (10) minutes from the hours of 8:00am-2:00pm, followed by $300 awarded every (15) minutes from 2:00pm-9:00pm.
