Jonathan Jaffe (Longmeadow, MA)

That amount of times a player had been at risk since the money bubble burst could be counted on one hand, but Jonathan Jaffe found himself in that very position just moments ago, as the final minutes were ticking off the clock in Level 16.  After Sam Ganzfield opened to 47,000 from the button, Jonathan Jaffe announced to the dealer that he was all-in (for close to 475,000).  Corey Burbick folded his big blind, with Ganzfield (who had Jaffe) looking at his cards once more, before dropping the chips on the felt for a call.

It would be the A J♠ of Jaffe running into Sam's K K♠, but the A♣ 4 6 flop immediately flipped the lead, making Jaffe a heavy favorite.  Ganzfield would turn (2) a heart draw, but the board would pair on the river (4), giving Jaffe the double to over 1,050,000.  Sam dropped down to 240,000 after shipping the chips Jaffe's was, with players now on another ten-minute break.

Jonathan Jaffe- 1,050,000
Sam Ganzfield - 240,000
