"Single-Day Series II:" Sean Perry Bubbles, As O'Hara Assumes Chip Lead

$2,500 No Limit Hold'em
"Single-Day Series II"
Level 13 (Blinds 6,000/12,000/12,000 Ante)
Total Entries: 30
Players Remaining: 5

Sean Perry (Encinitas, CA)

With Level 12 winding down, and action folding to Ian O'Hara on the button, he would have the two shortest stacks in the blinds.  Andrew Touchette sat with 180,000 in the small blind, while Sean Perry held 200,000 in the big.  Ian would choose to shove, having each player well covered, and would get called by Sean Perry (after Andrew folded).  Holding A 3, Sean would be in as good of shape as he could have hoped, flipping to stay alive against Ian's 2 2.

The runout would stay clean for O'Hara's pocket deuces, and Sean would be eliminated in sixth place, just one spot short of the money.  The over 400,000 chip pot would bring Ian just over 900,000, making him the first player to eclipse that mark.  The rest of that players at the final table are now guaranteed at least $4,140.  There will be a break at the end of this level, with players returning to Level 13, and new blinds of 6,000/12,000/12,000.  Updated chip counts will be tallied during break, and posted shortly thereafter.
