Jonathan Jaffe (Longmeadow, MA)

Jonathan Jaffe bested a field of (30) entries in route to winning the second installment of the "Single-Day Series," a $2,500 buy-in event that boasted a $69,000 prize pool.  In a comfortable position for most of the day, Jaffe used a fortunate runout holding A J♠ against Sam Ganzfield's K K♠ to propel himself to the title.  After winning that hand, and doubling to over 1,000,000 in chips, Jonathan proceeded to knockout the final three players (Touchette, O'Hara, and Burbick).  This is Jaffe's first tournament win since his $7,500 High Roller title at Maryland Live! in 2016 ($50,400).  The $31,740 that Jaffe earned for first place brings his career earnings total above $2,564,000, and helps him crack the top (300) on the all-time money list.
