Bryce McVay (Jupiter, FL) was sitting with a pretty comfortable stack, even as the blinds began to make things a little shallower. He would then go on to lose with A♠ A♣ against K♦ Q♦, followed by losing with 10♠ 10♣ against 3♠ 3♣ (to Jamie Wiegrefe). Those hands would take a large percentage of Bryce's stack, and he'd bust to Linda Lipkins just moments ago, as she flopped a straight with A♠ K♥ (against his A♥ 7♦). Bryce earns $3,325 for his twelfth place finish, but surely exits the field feeling like he should have deserved a better result.
It should be noted that Jamie Wigrefe, who was down to just 200,000 after losing that massive pot to Diane Linke, is now back over 1,200,000.
