"November $200,000" (Day 2): Zarcadoolas Eliminates "The Grinder" Short Of The Money

"November $200,000"
$360 No Limit Hold'em | $200,000 GTD
Level 18 (Blinds 3,000/6,000/500)
Total Entries: 624
Players Remaining: 65

Both Matthew Zarcadoolas (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) and Michael Mizrachi came into the day short, but it's Matthew getting the better of the tournament great.

Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi (Hollywood, FL) came into Day 2 with the best tournament resume by far, with over $15,600,000 in lifetime earnings.  The prior accomplishments are beyond impressive, but they couldn't help the position Mizrachi started Day 2 in, with the twelfth shortest stack of the (96) players to return.

After the action folded to Michael in the small blind, he would shove for just over 25,000.  Matthew Zarcadoolas, who was in the big blind (and also the day super short), ended up making the call.  It would be Mizrachi's Q♣ 10♣ against the K 5♣ of Zarcadoolas, with the dealer running out a board of 9 3 2♠ 5 A.  Zarcadoolas's pair of fives would be good enough to take down the pot (as was his king-high), and he'd eliminated Mizrachi just ten places short of the money.  Matthew is up to 100,000 after winning the pot, which is more than double the stack he started Day 2 with.
