Sunday, November 5th: "November $200,000" Players Returning For Day 2 (12:00pm), Over $39,000 Up Top

ICYMI: Yesterday's action for the $360 No Limit Hold'em ($200,000 GTD) tournament, otherwise known as the "November $200,000," needed a strong showing to reach the guaranteed number.  Flight 1G started at 11:00am, and after registration closed, ended up being the largest of the six flights.  There were a total of (163) entries, with (25) players successfully reaching the bagging process, led by Marc Sacheli (371,000) and Craig Seeber (305,000).  Both players earned the chip lead bonus, and will be playing in the $340 Package Satellite (into $2,500 Single-Day and $1,500 Isle Classic Event #1) on November 29th.

With registration closing for the afternoon flight, just as the cards were getting in the air for the final flight of the event (Flight 1H), we knew that it needed (171) entries to make the guarantee.  Things came down to the the few levels of registration, with (139) entries making up the field for Flight 1H.  A total of (27) players booked their tickets to Day 2, with Isle Poker notables Steven Moreno (224,500) and Danilo Parada (219,000) bagging the bonuses.  Full chip counts from both flights, as well as Day 2 chip counts (and seating assignments) were published earlier on the blog.

The combined total for the tournament in terms of entries was (624), just (32) entries short of the guarantee.  The money from the overlay is provided by the Isle Casino Poker Room, with the prize pool equaling $200,000.  A total of (55) players will reach the money this afternoon, from the (96) that are returning to start Day 2.  Cards will be in the air at 12:00pm, with the blog offering coverage as the event plays down to a winner.

Tournaments: Day 2 of the $360 No Limit Hold'em ($200,000 GTD) sees players returning at 12:00pm, ready to battle it out for the $39,270 first place prize.  The tournament structure stays the same, with (30) minute levels over the course of Day 2.

There is another tournament on the schedule this evening, with the $130 No Limit Hold'em "Hard Stop, ICM Chop" beginning at 6:00pm.  Players sit down to starting stacks of 20,000 units, with (20) minute levels, but there is a little wrinkle towards the end of the night.  After Level 16, the clock will be paused, and (10) final hands will be played.  Once those hands have finished, those players still left will split the prize pool (according to ICM calculations).

Promotions: From (9:00am-10:00am), the high hand will award $150 every (30) minutes.  The high hands will then transition from 10:00am-12:00am (midnight), with the opportunity to win $400 every (30) minutes.  During that period, the promotion sees tournament players eligible (Isle Open events not eligible for high hand) each half-hour for $100 high hands, 2/2 limit hold'em players eligible for $200 high hands, 2/4 limit hold'em players eligible for $300 high hands, and all other raked games (1/2-5/10 NLH, 4/8 Omaha 8B, 6/12 O.E., etc.) eligible for $400 high hands.  From 12:00am-9:00am, players are eligible for $100 high hands every hour.

It should also be noted that starting November 1st, players are able to win the high hand using only one card in their hand!!!  The payouts for those that use one card are different than the standard numbers listed above, and can be found (full listing of one-card payouts on flyers in the poker room).
