For a very long time, being a Philadelphia Eagles fan came along with the distinction of rooting for a team that "couldn't win the championship." Teams with stacked rosters, trips numerous NFC Championships, and a loss in the Super Bowl, haunted generations of Eagles fans. That all changed this past Sunday, as the Nick Files-led team beat the New England Patriots, in one of the better Super Bowl's we've seen. It's rare to find too many die-hard Eagles fans here in Florida, but one in proudly celebrating in today's field, sporting a Philadelphia jersey.
Jon Templin (Collingswood, NJ) does currently live in Pennsylvania, but lives in one of the many counties in New Jersey that identify as "Eagles Territory." Two of Templin's three lifetime tournament cashes have come in Philly (Harrah's Chester), with the other occurring here in Florida (in 2015). Back in Florida again, Jon is looking to record another tournament cash this afternoon, and hoping to follow his Eagles to a victory later this evening.
