"$250 NLH Single-Ante ($30,000 GTD):" Tom Gity Was Gone, But He's Back After Some "Time Off" From The Tables

$250 NLH Single-Ante| $30,000 GTD
Level 4 (Blinds 1,000/2,000/2,000)
Total Entries: 101
Players Remaining: N/A

Tom Gity (Pompano Beach, FL) has been out of the tournament "spotlight" for close to two months, but is now back in action for today's single-ante event.

For the past few months, a familiar face has been missing from the tournament fields...but he's back in action this afternoon.  Tom Gity (Pompano Beach, FL) was in attendance for what seemed like every evening tournament, multi-flight event, or tournaments during our major series.  That was until December came around, and Gity was absent for the Isle Classic, along with the events that followed in July.  It was perplexing why a successful player with over $158,000 in lifetime earnings (not including daily Isle Poker results before they were submitted to Hendon Mob), would just disappear from action.

"I'm back...took some time off to clear my head," Gity said as he was heading up the escalator moments ago.  That helps explain the gap in volume for Tom, who like so many other prominent players in the poker community, like to take some time to "recharge." Gity recorded seventeen cashes in 2017, so he's getting a late start this year, but his volume played will help him catch up pretty quickly.  Some other late entries into the field include:

Jamie Wiegrefe
Alan Dobrow
Jeffrey Silverstein
Elliot Goldman
Robert Flacco
Paula Alibrandi
Craig Witz
Moshe Wasser
Paul Shafran

Players are heading on their first break at the end of this level, and will be returning to Level 5, with new blinds of 1,000/2,000/2,000 (Level 4 and Level 5 mirror each other, to allow for some extra play in the structure).
