Players are just taking their seats in the tournament area, with the $250 No Limit Hold'em Single-Ante ($30,000 GTD) to begin at 11:00am. With a structure (and format) adapted from the $2,500 No Limit Hold'em Single-Ante event that has been so successful, this $250 buy-in version ran during the 2017 Isle Classic, and again just a week ago. The tournament has been very popular with recreational players, and tournament professionals alike...allowing for quicker pace of play, and a different dynamic (with the single big blind ante).
The tournament is structured with starting stacks of 50,000 units, and levels that last (30) minutes over the course of the afternoon/evening. There is a single ante posted each hand (by the big blind), and in an all-in situation, the big blind is to be considered as having been posted first.
There will be sporadic live blogged updates throughout the day, including official results as the tournament reaches the money, and plays down to a winner (or a deal).
