After Adam Koppel (Wellington, FL) opened from early position (with just over ten bigs behind), Tony Ruberto three-bet to 35,000 (from the button). Both blinds released their hands, and Koppel four-bet shoved for a total of 60,000. Ruberto quickly made the call, and the two would be racing, with Koppel's J♠ J♥ against Ruberto's A♠ K♥. The flop would bring an ace, and without a jack on the turn or river, Adam would be eliminated just two spots short of the money.
Play then entered hand-for-hand, which has been going on for about twenty minutes. Michael Marks was the most recent player at risk, but managed to spike and ace with A♦ 10♥, against the K♠ K♣ of Marcin Plewinski.
