"February $50,000" (Day 2): Paul Vieira The First To Leave Final Table, Exits In 10th Place ($1,060)

Paul Vieira (Wethersfield, FL) is primarily a cash game player, but when he does play tournaments, the results are usually solid.  This is his first cash since reaching the final table of the "November $100,000," a $250 buy-in event just like this.

Paul Vieira (Wethersfield, FL) was the shortest stack heading to the final table (by a slim margin), and after one orbit, Paul would shove from middle position (for 153,000).  Action folded around to Jonathan Speranza, who was in the big blind, with Paul racing for his tournament life:

Vieira: 4♠ 4
Speranza: A 10

Runout: K J 9♠ 6♠ Q♣

The flop wasn't the best for Vieira, but he would fade the turn, leaving him just one card from a double.  The river ended up bringing the straight for Speranza, who then became the second player at the final table with over 1,000,000 in chips (joining Tony Ruberto).
