| Donald Francois (Delray Beach, FL) has both the blessing...and sometime curse, of being the early chip leader in these long opening flights. Staying atop the leaderboard for an entire day of play is extremely difficult, but even with a little downswing, it's possible to recover (as we saw from Scott Levitt yesterday). |
There hasn't been a start like Scott Levitt's yesterday afternoon (who already had 90,000 in Level 3), but there is one player in this Flight 1B field off to a very strong start. Satellite winner Donald Francois (Delray Beach, FL) is already over 70,000, and finds himself the very early chip leader. Francois has over $38,000 in live tournament earnings, a majority of which came from an Isle Poker result last year, when chopped a $140 No Limit Hold'em ($200,000 GTD). Francois received second place money in the deal, which was worth $20,703, and still stands as his largest ever tournament score.
