Isle Poker Classic Event #7 (Day 2): And If You Don't Know (Trudeau)...Well Know You Know

2018 Isle Poker Classic (Event #7)
$1,100 No Limit Hold'em Main Event
$200,000 GTD
Level 14 (Blinds 1,500/3,000/3,000)
Total Event #7 Entries: 244
Players Remaining: 58

We knew that Jeff Trudeau (Orlando, FL) was going to be featured during today's live coverage, but nobody expected to almost double his chip leading stack over the day's first level.

It hasn't taken long for Jeff Trudeau (Orlando, FL) to separate himself from the rest of the field, as he enters the second level of play with a stack that's 100,000 units clear of his nearest opponent.  We weren't present for the hand that helped Jeff increase his stack by almost 50%, but another player at the table brought it to our attention (Matthew Bretzfield).  Stacks got in pre-flop between Trudeau and Jason Wandling, who started the day with 141,5000, which was a top fifteen stack when play resumed.

Wandling was in a good spot to double-up, holding A♠ A against Trudeau's Q♣ Q, but the lead was only good until the dealer fanned out the flop.  Trudeau managed to find one of the two remaining queens, leaving Jason looking his own two-outer to appear on the turn or river.  Neither amounted, and Wandling would be eliminated from Event #7, while Trudeau chipped up to 490,000.

Jeffrey Trudeau - 490,000 (163bb)
