Jeff Trudeau (Orlando, FL) has over $556,000 in tournament earnings this year, besting his impressive number from 2017 ($394,176).

The rules announcement was made just moments ago, and the first hand of Day 2 for Event #7 was dealt, signifying the close of registration.  BEfore the first card was pitched, (8) players decided to take the option to buy-in, bringing the overall field to (244) entries.  The official prize pool closed at $239,120, with (31) players getting paid, and first place scheduled to earn $55,416.  The official payouts for Event #7 will be posted momentarily, breaking down all of the numbers for those still remaining.

Jeff Trudeau (Orlando, FL) begins the day as the overall chip leader, returning to a stack of 288,000.  This year has been a special one for Trudeau, "breaking out" onto the scene with his results, and to the viewing public on ESPN (during his WSOP Main Event run).
