Like we've seen so many times before in these multi-flight/multi-day events, a player comes from seemingly nowhere to grab a chip lead in the final few levels of the day. Steven Carswell was one of the shorter stacked players in the tournament after the registration window closed, but some quality cards (and quality play) helped Steven eclipse the 200,000 mark midway through Level 18. The Florida-based player has just $16,000 in career tournament earnings, with his largest cash happening almost a year ago to the date. Carswell took down a $130 No Limit Hold'em event on June 8th of last year (at Coconut Creek), worth close to $4,250.
Steven's official count has not been verified just yet, but once the stacks from Flight 1A have been bagged and verified, a list of end of flight chip counts will be posted.
