Andre Rakusa (Coral Springs, FL) 

Andre Rakusa (Coral Springs, FL) is another Isle Poker tournament regular in today's field, and his goal is likely the same as the rest of the players...get the hands on the trophy (and first place money).  Andre has experienced that moment once in his tournament career, winning Event 9 of the 2016 Isle Poker Open ($350 No Limit Hold'em $300,000 GTD).  He'd earn just over $60,000 for his part of the ICM chop, holding a sizable final table chip lead.  Now a first place from a deal isn't quite the same as winning a tournament outright, but who can possibly argue with their name next to number one...and the largest payout in the event.

Andre continued his success as the calendar year turned, bubbling the "official final table" of the SHR WPT Deepstacks $1,100 Main Event, finishing tenth for $17,529.  Rakusa headlines the first look at notables in the Flight 1A field, a list that's been growing from the moment the cards got in the air.
