Towards the end of last month, the "Deepstack Series" was run at the Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood poker room.  The three "main" events of the series were a $150 No Limit Hold'em, $350 No Limit Hold'em, and $560 No Limit Hold'em.  Francis Margaglione (Davie, FL), who plays at many of the different properties in Florida, cashed in each of those events during the series, finishing no worse than 46th place.  Considering the field sizes and tournament variance, three deep runs like that are even more impressive.

Francis came into Day 2 of the $560 No Limit Hold'em as an overwhelming chip leader, but began trending the wrong way, and couldn't stop the slide.  He ended up finishing in 41st place for $1,085, but considering how he was returning with the largest stack, the result fell short of expectations.  Margaglione has been a frequent face on the blog, with the ability (and tendency) to amass chip at a quick rate.
