FSPC Event 14 (Day 3): Another Three-Way All-In, Hockaday On The Winning End

2017 Florida State Poker Championships
Event 14 - $1,100 No Limit Hold'em ($150,000 GTD)
Level 25 (Blinds 12,000/24,000/4,000)
Total Entries: 279
Players Remaining: 10/279

Left short from the three-way all-in to start the day, Anthony Hockaday open shoved UTG for 154,000.  Players folded around to Jerry Wong (on the button), who made the call, and watched as Maurice Hawkins re-shoved from the small blind (for just over 275,000).  Stu Patterson folded his big blind, and Wong would make the call:

Wong: K Q♣
Hockaday: 7♠ 7
Hawkins: A K♣

Runouts: K♠ 10♣ 7♣ 9♠ 5♠

Hockaday flopped a set to grab a commanding lead, and after sweating out the river, tripled up to 480,000.  Maurice would win a side pot for Jerry Wong, leaving players with the following chip counts:

Jerry Wong - 495,000
Anthony Hockaday - 490,000
Maurice Hawkins - 245,000
