FSPC Event 14 (Day 3): Hockaday Leaves In 4th Place ($17,167), Three-Handed Counts

2017 Florida State Poker Championships
Event 14 - $1,100 No Limit Hold'em ($150,000 GTD)
Level 28 (Blinds 25,000/50,000/5,000)
Total Entries: 279
Players Remaining: 3/279

Anthony Hockaday (Plantation, FL) 4th Place - $17,167

Anthony Hockaday (Plantation, FL) was the shortest of the four players remaining, and after Stu Paterson opened to 120,000, Hockaday shoved for just over 300,000.  Paterson made the call, and would table J♠ J♣, up against Anthony's Q♠ 10♠.  The board would bring no help to Hockaday, who earns the second largest score of his career ($17,617), and gets his first cash since 2012.

Posted below are the three-handed chip counts:

  1. Corey Burbick - 1,400,000
  2. Alexandre Fradin - 1,700,000
  3. Stu Paterson - 2,400,000
