Monday, July 24th: Final Event #14 Chapter Still To Be Written, FSPC Continues On

ICYMI: Players that bagged chips for Event #14's Day 2 returned to play yesterday afternoon, with the tournament scheduled to end late Sunday night/early Monday morning.  The tournament's structure allowed for some very deep play, and when the final table was reached, it was clear that the end was not it site.  At 12:20am, the remaining ten players bagged up their chips, ready to return this afternoon at 1:00pm to finish things out.  The combined tournament earnings of the remaining final table players is over $10,000,000, with names like Jerry Wong, Stu Patterson, TK Miles, Corey Burbick, and Maurice Hawkins still left.

When play resumes at 1:00pm, action will begin with Level 25, and blinds of 12,000/24,000/4,000.  Listed below are the chip counts (and seating assignments) for the players returning, with Stu Patterson coming back with the chip lead:

Tournaments: The FSPC schedule continues on today, as we get closer to the $1,500 FSPC Main Event ($500,000 GTD) this weekend.  The first of two events begins at 11:00am, as the cards get in the air of the ever-popular "Structure Beast."  Event #16 is a $175 buy-in No Limit Hold'em event with a $15,000 guarantee, and one of the best structures around (for that price point).  Players in the tournament sit down to starting stacks of 12,000 units, and play levels of (30) minutes throughout the event.

The evening time slot (6:00pm) is filled by another player-favorite event, as the $60 No Limit Hold'em $12,000 GTD (Event #17) tournament makes an appearance on the FSPC schedule.  The tournament, which usually attract field sizes north of (250) entries, has more of a turbo-ish type structure.  Players in the tournament sit down to starting stacks of 14,000 units, and play levels of (20) minutes of the course of the event.

Promotions: Outside of the "standard high hand" promotion, there will be "Turbo High Hands" from 9:00am-12:00pm.  During that window of time, $100 will be awarded to the qualifying high hand every (10) minutes (rollovers apply).
