Maurice Hawkins opened UTG to 48,000, with Stu Patterson next to act, and three-betting to 146,000. Hawkins made the call after action folded back around, leaving himself with about a half-sized pot bet remaining. Hawkins checked the 7♥ 7♠ 3♠ flop to Patterson, who verbalized all-in, with Maurice quickly calling. The hands were tabled, with Maurice well ahead, holding Q♠ Q♣ against Stu's J♠ J♣. That lead lasted just a few seconds though, as the J came on the turn, followed by the 6 on the river.
Hawkins quickly walked away from the table, heading to the podium to collect his $5,157. Players continued with a few more hands, and are taking a (10) minute break. Updated chip counts from the break will be posted momentarily.
