FSPC Event 14 (Day 3): Paterson Finds Fortunate Runout To Bust Burbick In 3rd Place ($27,727)

2017 Florida State Poker Championships
Event 14 - $1,100 No Limit Hold'em ($150,000 GTD)
Level 29 (Blinds 30,000/60,000/5,000)
Total Entries: 279
Players Remaining: 2/279

Corey Burbick (Davie, FL) 3rd Place - $27,727

Corey Burbick (Davie, FL) was the short stack when three-handed play began, but he did manage get himself close to (30) big blinds.  Corey limped the button, and after Alexandre Fradin folded, Stu Paterson went all-in (having Burbick covered).  Corey quickly made the call, and seemed prime to double-up, holding A♠ A♣ against Stu's A♦ Q♠.  The 9 2 K♠ 10 J♠ runout saw Paterson go perfect-perfect to make broadway, sending Burbick to the podium in third place ($27,727).

Play is now heads up, with the following chip counts:
  1. Alexandre Fradin - 2,200,000
  2. Stu Paterson - 3,520,000
