Day 2 Chip Leader Michael Stewartson

The cards are now in the air for Day 2 of Event #7, with the combined field under the same roof for the first time.  Players have been using these first few minutes to "introduce" themselves to their new table mates, and depending on the breaking order, they could be sharing the felt together for a long time today.  Michael Stewartson is someone who needs no introduction today, as he sits down with the overall chip lead.  The 398,000 stack that he bagged during Flight 1B stood the test of four flights that followed it, and still remained on top.  Tournament success is something that is second nature for Stewartson, who is coming off of a team championship in the Masters Basketball Association.  The mens league is one of the most competitive in the state for it's age group (40-45+), so it says a lot that Stewartson was named to the "All-Tournament Team."  Michael's poker resume lacks the same prestige, but he's looking to change that in a matter of twelve hours or so.

The field is still (20) eliminations from the money bubble, and with an average stack (136,000) of over (30) big blinds, it could be a little while before that point is reached.
