Flight 1F was the last chance for players to try and bag chips for Day 2, with (284) entries making up the field. Once registration closed for the flight, the official numbers for Event #7 would be released, and they would be staggering. The event would have 1,144 entries, and an official prize pool of $348,920!! Things got very real for the players that were still trying to bag chips, with (45) successfully booking their ticket for today's Day 2 action. David Goldfischer (Hollywood, FL) would bag the Flight 1F chip lead (259,000), and join the likes of Diane Linke, Erik Nomberg, Daniel Cruz, and John Palace, in reaching Day 2.
The action resumes this afternoon at 12:00pm, with (177) players returning to battle it out for the $57,564 first place prize. Six of the ten final table payouts are for more than $11,000, making this one of the "richest" tournaments of the series.
