FSPC Main Event (Day 3): Daniels Take Out Another, Newman Exits In 7th Place ($23,777)

2017 Florida State Poker Championships
Event 20 - $1,500 No Limit Hold'em ($500,000 GTD)
Level 27 (Blinds 30,000/60,000/10,000)
Total Entries: 548
Players Remaining: 6/548

Michael Newman (Nanuet, NY) 7th Place $23,777

With players folding to Michael Newman on the button, he would open shove for 1,050,000 (20 big blinds).  Abbey Daniels, who has been the biggest mover by far this level, called from the small blind, with Danny Shiff tossing his hand in the muck.  Newman stood after he turned over A♠ 5♣, hoping to outflop Abbey's A Q.  The board would run out 2♠ 3♣ 6 J♠ 2, and Michael would be eliminated in seventh place ($23,777).

This is Newman's fifth final table cash of the summer, including a 10th place finish in the $10,000 No Limit Hold'em Tag Team event at the WSOP ($5,971).

Abbey Daniels - 3,500,000
Michael Newman - 7th Place - $23,777
