Monday, July 31st: Florida State Poker Championships Ends Today, Main Event Winner To Be Crowned

ICYMI: After a total of (22) tournaments spanning over three weeks, the 2017 Florida State Poker Championships is wrapping up this evening.  While the final FSPC event gets started at 6:00pm (Event #22 $60 No Limit Hold'em), all eyes will be on Day 3 of the $1,500 No Limit Hold'em FSPC Main Event.  Eighteen players are returning at 12:00pm, all looking to get their hands on the trophy, and the $142,173 first place prize.  Danny Shiff (Miami, FL) led the field after Flight 1A, continued to lead heading into Day 2, and now leads as play enters Day 3 (2,500,000).  

When play resumes, the clock will start in Level 23, with blinds of 12,000/24,000/4,000.  Listed below are the chip counts of the players remaining, along with how many blinds they are returning to:

Live coverage of Day 3 will begin at 12:00pm, and will continue through the conclusion of the event.

Tournaments: As mentioned above, outside of Event #20's Day 3, there is one more tournament on the FSPC schedule this evening.  The final event of the series is a $60 No Limit Hold'em tournament with a $12,000 guaranteed prize pool.  Players sit down to starting stacks of 14,000 units, and will be playing levels lasting (20) minutes throughout the event.  Registration is open until Level 8, with an optional add-on available to players still active ($20 for 10,000 units).

Promotions: Outside of the "standard high hand" promotion, there will be "Turbo High Hands" from 9:00am-12:00pm.  During that window of time, $100 will be awarded to the qualifying high hand every (10) minutes (rollovers apply).

12:00pm - FSPC Event #20 (Day 3): $1,500 No Limit Hold'em ($500,000 GTD) 

- Players start with 30,000 in tournament chips
- Late and re-entries for the first (12) levels, to include before the 1st card on Day 2
- Alternates and late entries will start with a full stack
- Level will last (50) minutes (Day 1), transitioning to (60) minutes Day 2+
- All Day 1's will play (12) complete levels or until 13% of the field remains (whichever comes first)

6:00pm - FSPC Event #22 - $60 No Limit Hold'em ($12,000 GTD)

- Players will begin with a 14,000 starting stack
- Late and re-entries for the first (8) levels
- Levels are (20) minutes in length
- Optional add-on at the end of Level 8 ($20 for 10,000 units, 100% goes towards the prize pool)
- All late registrants and re-entries will receive a full stack
