2017 Isle Open | Event #1
$175 No Limit Hold'em | $100,000 GTD
Level 4 (Blinds 100/200/25)
Total Flight 1E Entries: 83

Nagui Yassa (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) looking to continue a great run that started two weeks ago, during the
WSOP Circuit series at Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood.

To start the Flight 1A coverage on Monday, we featured Daniel Genachte (Deerfield Beach, FL), who was coming off of a final table appearance at the WSOP Circuit $1,675 Main Event final table (Seminole Hard Rock).  There is another player in this afternoon's field that is coming off of a career highlighting series, as Nagui Yassa (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) cashed in four events during the same series.  Yassa would earn his career best score to start the series, as he reached the final table of Event #1 ($580 No Limit Hold'em), eventually bowing out in 4th place ($46,974).  The cash was $12,000 more than his prior top score, which came during the Festa Al Lago series in Las Vegas (2009).

As mentioned above, Nagui went on to cash in three more events after his opening performance, including the $1,675 Main Event and a final table finish in Event #13 ($365 No Limit Hold'em Turbo).  Nag headlines the first group of notables in today's field, joining names like:

Oneil McCalla
Nancy Birnbaum
Scott Hecker
Russell Williams
Duane Minerva
Tom Gity
Joseph Mancuso
David Gelley
Paula Alibrandi

Players will be taking their first break of the day at the conclusion of this level, returning to Level 5, and new blinds of 150/300/50.  Once the cards are in the air, we will continue to bring you the second installment of "faces in the crowd."
