Isle Open Event 1 (Flight 1E): "Tank Davis" Has Unfinished Business To Take Care Of

2017 Isle Open | Event #1
$175 No Limit Hold'em | $100,000 GTD
Level 5 (Blinds 150/300/50)
Total Flight 1E Entries: 96

Bryce McVay (Jupiter, FL) is even more driven to get his hands on a title, after falling short of a WSOP Circuit
ring two weeks ago.

Bryce McVay (Jupiter, FL) is known as "Tank Davis" by a select few (basically just the other eleven players in his fantasy league), but the moniker may begin to catch on, as he's trucking through tournament fields as of late.  McVay, who spent some time living in Tampa before moving to Jupiter, was just one spot short of winning a WSOP Circuit ring two weeks ago.  Bryce found himself heads-up against David Gunas in Event #3 ($365 No Limit Hold'em Monster Stack), and after a long battle, ended up settling for second place.

While the finish wasn't the goal he had in mind, Bryce did collect $17,538 for his efforts, which is the second largest tournament score of his career.   The money brings his total live earnings over $247,000, which is super impressive for a player who commits time to both tournament poker, as well a cash games.  "Tank Davis" is starting his morning off with a cup of the Isle's finest coffee, and looking to get through this flight with just one entry.  McVay tops our second look at notables in the field, with a list that includes the following players:

Luis Santoni
Alvaro Grisales
James Salmon
Michael Spadafore
Errol Massey
Susan Krowitz
Raymond "Skip" McDonough
Fabio Santos
Robert Arnold
