Event #1 | $360 No Limit Hold'em ($200,000 GTD)
Level 15 (Blinds 2,000/4,000/4,000)
Total Flight 1A Entries: 129
Flight 1A Players Remaining: 17
Eric Brewster (West Palm Beach, FL) just became everyone's favorite Flight 1A player, after eliminating Raminder Singh, and sending the remaining field into the money. |
Hand-for-hand play didn't last long, but it was pretty eventful. Michael Garavuso doubled through Peter Udovik in a 300,000 pot, with Michael's J♠ J♣ holding up, against Peter's A♠ K♣ (all-in pre). Udovik looked to be in danger of then bubbling, but just a few feet away, Raminder Singh was all-in and at risk. Singh held A♣ Q♣ on a Q♥ 5♦ 8♣ flop, but was against the K♠ K♥ of Eric Brewster. The turn and river would run out clean for Eric, which meant that Raminder would be the Flight 1A "bubble boy."
Everyone that remains in the field is guaranteed at least $500, but the ultimate goal is to reach the bagging process, which will begin when (7) players remain.
Eric Brewster - 240,000 (60bb)
