Isle Open Event #6 (Flight 1C): Steven Bennett Goes About Things In His Own Fashion, Which Seems To Working Very Well

2018 Isle Open | Event #6
$360 No Limit Hold'em ($100,000 GTD)
Level 4 (Blinds 200/300/300)
Total Flight 1C Entries: 33

Steven Bennett (Deerfield Beach, FL) wouldn't be labeled a"tournament crusher" just on the way he holds himself at the table, but his results prove that he's just that.

With his quest and unassuming demeanor at the tables, if a player didn't know about his history, they may just consider him another "rec-player" in the field.  That could not be further from the truth though, as Bennett is a tournament beast, with the results to prove it.  His career earnings are over $785,000, with a food portion of that number recorded this year alone.  Since the calendar turned in January, and to this point in 2018, Bennett has just over $248,000 in earnings.  He can thank an event earlier this summer for the career best year (statistically), when he took the top spot in a chop of the $570 No Limit Hold'em opening event of the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown.  The first place money was worth $186,308, and was his second ever six-figure score (his first came in the 2014 WSOP Main Event, when he finished in 67th for $103,025.  Steve is just a few days removed from another impressive result, winning the $130 No Limit Hold'em "Big Stack Special" ($100,000 GTD) at Hard Rock last weekend ($14,569).  Steven also saw some success just days ago, when he was part of the four-way chop that ended Event #5 ($175 No Limit Hold'em $25,000 GTD) on Tuesday night (4th Place - $3,163).

Bennett is truly a consummate professional at the tables, and someone that others enjoy sharing the felt with.  He's already seated at Table 4, and hoping to bag chips on this initial entry of the tournament.

Players will be taking their first break at the end of this level, and will be returning to Level 5, with new blinds of 200/400/400.
