Thursday, October 18th: Event #6 Hosts Second Pair Of Starting Flights, With Everyone Looking Up At Francis Margaglione

ICYMI: Yesterday's tournament schedule hosted the opening flights for Event #6, which is a $360 No Limit Hold'em ($100,000 GTD), that has a total of eight starting flights.  The opening pair of flights attracted a total of (111) entries, of which (13) players bagged chips for Sunday's Day 2.  The prize fund after two flights sits at $33,300, which is well ahead of the pace needed to surpass the tournament's posted guarantee.  A full list of chip counts from the opening day of Event #6 are posted below:

Tournaments: After the first pair of opening flights, Event #6 ($360 No Limit Hold'em $100,000 GTD) continues today, with two more starting flights.  Flight 1B kicks off at 11:00am, and will be followed at 6:00pm, by Flight 1C.  The tournament is scheduled with 25,000 unit starting stacks, and levels that last (30) minutes (on Day 1, eventually shifting to 40 minutes on Day 2).  Registration for each flight is open through Level 8, with play scheduled to conclude when the field reaches the 10% mark. Player that bag chips from each flight, will be returning on Sunday (at 12:00pm) to finish out the event.  

At 3:00pm, a $90 No Limit Hold'em Satellite for Event #6 gets underway, guaranteeing three seats into the tournament.



Promotions: From (9:00am-10:00am), the high hand will award $150 every (30) minutes.  The high hands will then transition from 10:00am-12:00am, with the opportunity to win $400 every (30) minutes.  During that period, the promotion sees tournament players eligible each half-hour for $100 high hands, 2/2 limit hold'em players eligible for $200 high hands, 2/4 limit hold'em players eligible for $300 high hands, and all other raked games (1/2-5/10 NLH, 4/8 Omaha 8B, 6/12 O.E., etc.) eligible for $400 high hands.  

It should also be noted that players are able to win the high hand using only one card in their hand.  The payouts for those that use one card are different than the standard numbers listed above, and can be found (full listing of one-card payouts on flyers in the poker room).

From 12:00am-3:00am, the high hand will be awarded $100 every (60) minutes.
