Joseph Schwartz (Boca Raton, FL) rarely misses the "big" Phish shows, but bypassed this weekend's run at Hampton Coliseum, for a shot at an Isle Open trophy. |
Joseph Schwartz (Boca Raton, FL) is very much into music, with one of his favorite bands being Phish (for those that don't know, they are commonly compared to the Grateful Dead, because of music style and fan culture). Fans of the band will agree, that one of the best venues to see Phish is Hampton Coliseum, which is in the state of Virginia. Currently on their fall tour, Phish is playing at the "mothership" (a fan given nick man for the Coliseum) this weekend, but Schwartz is passing on the shows. Instead, he's in today's afternoon flight, hoping to bag chips for Sunday's Day 2.
Followers of the blog may remember Schwartz from June's $175 No Limit Hold'em ($100,000 GTD) event, when he took fourth place money, in a chop that ended the tournament. Schwartz received $8,500 for the result, which is his largest tournament cash to date. Schwartz has recorded one result since that career highlighting score, finishing second in an Aria daily ($240 No Limit Hold'em) last month.
Joseph headlines the first look at notables in today's field, joining the likes of:
