FSPC Main Event (Flight 1B): Pretty Sick Runout For Biancone

2017 Florida State Poker Championships
Event 20 - $1,500 No Limit Hold'em ($500,000 GTD)
Level 9 (Blinds 500/1,000/100)
Total Flight 1B Entries: 162
Flight 1B Players Remaining: 83

Patrick Biancone (Arcadia, CA)

The timing couldn't be better, as we passed a hand at Table 7, with three players all-in.  Kevin Scarola, Patrick Biancone, and A. Nonymous, got their chips in on an A♠ J 10♣ flop.  Scarola and A. Nonymous both flopped the joint (K Q and K♠ Q♠ respectively), with Biancone flopping two pair.  The turn would pair the board with the J, and while it wasn't quite the winning runout players expected, a third jack (J♠) fell on the river.

Biancone would make a full house the hard way, and eliminate A. Nonymous, while leaving Scarola with just 2,000 in chips.  Patrick was all-in for 65,000, and would come out of the hand with just over 165,000.  Biancone's poker career began in California, and continued that way until two years ago, when he moved to Florida.  The veteran has amassed over $100,000 in live tournament earnings, including a win on May 10th, when he took down a $100 No Limit Hold'em event on the Isle Poker recurring schedule ($920).

Patrick now joins a group of players looking to become the first to eclipse 200,000:

Ryan Gianquitti - 180,000
Maurice Hawkins - 163,000
Alex Haber - 147,000
AJ Gambino - 145,000
