Isle Open Championship (Day 1B): Levitt Looking For His Fifth Isle Poker Major Win

2017 Isle Open | Event #21
$1,500 No Limit Hold'em Isle Open Championship| $500,000 GTD
Level 2 (Blinds 75/150/25)
Total Day 1A Entries: 44

Scott Levitt (Delray Beach, FL) won his fourth Isle Poker major tournament earlier this series, which also happened to be his second Seniors Championship win.

The Day 1B field is currently moving at a slower pace than yesterday (in terms of entries), but it's likely that things will pick up as the afternoon continues.  For the past four years, there hasn't been a major tournament series main event that didn't see an increase in starting flight attendance (from start to finish).

This early afternoon field consists of a lot of new faces to the event, including Scott Levitt (Delray Beach, FL).  Scott...or Joseph, depending on which Hendon Mob account you're looking at, has over $221,000 in lifetime tournament earnings (spread over two names on Hendon).  His most recent result came earlier this series (just five days ago), when he won Event #16 ($175 No Limit Hold'em Seniors Championship, earning $2,414 for his efforts.  The title was his fourth overall, in terms of Isle Poker major wins, and his second Seniors Championship win (2013 Isle Open).

Other players that are taking their first attempt at bagging in this event include:

Dolphus Powers
Richard Leger
Larry Klur
Nancy Birnbaum
Luis Santoni
Kobi Ribak
David Inselberg
Alex Nguyen
