Isle Open Championship (Day 1B): The Weekend Bringing Out The "Fashionably Late" Crowd

2017 Isle Open | Event #21
$1,500 No Limit Hold'em Isle Open Championship| $500,000 GTD
Level 4 (Blinds 150/300/50)
Total Day 1B Entries: 78

WSOP bracelet winner plays a select group of Isle Poker tournaments throughout the year, but the championship events of the major series are events he rarely misses.

While it looked for a brief moment that the numbers were behind schedule, a late rush during break now has the field ahead of yesterday's pace.  One of the newest entrants was Christopher Bolek (Boca Raton, FL), a player that's no stranger to the Isle Poker Room.  While a lot of his early career (tournament) success occurred in this room, Chris's volume of Isle Poker events just isn't what it used to be.  A majority of his focus when in the room is on the highest limit cash games that a run, but he rarely misses events like the new $2,500 Single-Day Series, as well as championship events (such as this).

One of Bolek's six tournament wins came during the 2013 Isle Classic, when he shipped the $2,500 No Limit Hold'em Main Event for $96,000.  He's since got his hands on a WSOP bracelet (won this past summer), and has put together a resume with over $1,800,000 in earnings.  Chris joined a group of fashionably late entries, which included players like:

Ryan Riccie
Kevin Chan
Joshua Kay
Joshua Beckley
Nicholas Mahabee
Jeremy White
Alton Mendleson
Randolph Spain
Edward McNamara
Qasem Jamhour
