Just over a year ago, Sam Panzica (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) was experiencing the highlight of his poker career, winning the WPT Bay 101 Shooting Star Main Event, and earning himself $1,373,000. It was just part of a whirlwind three years for Sam, that's seen him earn over $3,000,000 in tournament cashes. Since July of 2016, Panzica has won three major titles (2 WPT events, and the 2016 Florida State Poker Championships $1,500 Main Event). He cracked the top one-hundred on the money-list for both 2016 and 2017, and is already off to a solid start this year. After notching some scores during the Aussie Millions, Sam final tabled the $25,000 No Limit Hold'em High Roller during the LAPC, which netted him a return of $131,000 (fourth place).
