Total Flight 1C Entries: 86
Ruslan Dykshteyn (Staten Island, NY) has a very impressive tournament resume, with over $1,038,000 earned since 2008. |
Now we've seen some fast starts to tournaments this series, but nothing like what just happened to Ruslan Dykshteyn (Staten Island, NY). Three players would be heading to the flop for a bet of 700, including Michael Newman and Ruslan Dykshteyn. The dealer would fan out a flop of 8♦ 5♦ 2♦, with Newman checking, first to act. John Roveto would bet 2,000, with Dykshteyn making the call, and Newman back-raising to 10,000. Roveto quickly announced himself all-in, with Ruslan casually making the call, along with Newman:
Flop: 8♦ 5♦ 2♦
Dykshteyn: A♦ 3♦
Newman: 8♠ 5♠
Roveto: A♥ K♦
Ruslan had flopped the nuts, and had people throwing chips into the pot before he could put in a raise. While Dyksteyn was still at risk to Newman making a full house, the turn and river would run out clean, and he'd knock out two players from early Flight 1C play. Michael Newman quickly re-entered the action, but we have not yet seen a reappearance of John Roveto.
