FSPC Event #4 (Flight 1D): Weekend Flights Expected To Bring Big Numbers, Flight 1D About To Begin

2018 Florida State Poker Championship
Event #4 | $360 No Limit Hold'em | $200,000 GTD
Level 1 (Blinds 100/100)
Total Flight 1D Entries: N/A

Event #4 ($360 No Limit Hold'em $200,000 GTD) is officially at it's halfway point, with Friday's pair of flights now in the books.  The two flights attracted a total of (247) entries, of which (32) players reached the money, and (14) players bagged chips for Day 2 (Monday).  The overall prize pool now sits at $122,610, and with three of the busiest flights still yet to come, we will have yet another FSPC tournament that crushes the guarantee.

Of the (14) players to reach the bagging process, two were awarded chip lead bonuses, and seats into the $1,500 No Limit Hold'em FSPC Main Event.  Gerardo "Jerry" Gonzalez bagged up the Flight 1B lead with 617,000, while Erik Nomberg packed away 698,000 at the end of Flight 1C.  Jim Hayes still holds the overall lead with 879,000 (from Flight 1A), a number that may possibly hold up through the next three flights.

The larger the flight, the larger the end of day chips counts...that's usually the equation.  Today's numbers are expected to be the largest we've seen, with Flight 1D action getting underway momentarily.  Live blogged coverage will offer official counts from the first three flights, followed by a look at some of the recognizable faces in the crowd.
