Event #4 | $360 No Limit Hold'em | $200,000 GTD
Level 8 (Blinds 400/800/800)
Total Flight 1D Entries: 124
Stuart Paterson (Boca Raton, FL) joined the action in the middle of Level 7, returning to the Isle Poker Room after a WSOP Main Event run that ended during Day 3. |
Just about a year ago (less a few days), Stuart Paterson (Boca Raton, FL) was negotiating a heads-up chop of Event #14, during the 2017 Florida State Poker Championship. The $1,100 No Limit Hold'em tournament attracted (279) entries, and had a prize pool of $280,280. Paterson's deal would see him earn $55,000 for first place, and the coveted FSPC trophy that comes along with the win. At the time, it brought Paterson's career earnings (live) to just over $884,000. With some results recorded after the win, he's now up to $897,981.
It's a sign we see during the FSPC each summer, as the bigger names begin returning home to Florida, after a summer of WSOP events. Matt Smith (Margate, FL) also joined the action moments ago, taking his seat at Table 3, towards the end of Level 7.
Players will be heading on their second break of the day at the end of this level, with registration closing once play resumes (Level 9). At that point, we will bring you the official numbers from Flight 1D, and then delve into some updated chip counts from the field.
