There are a few new faces to have joined the action during break, including that of Matthew Zarcadoolas (Ft. Lauderdale, FL), who returns to the Isle Poker Room after spending time in Las Vegas for the WSOP. This has been a banner year for Matthew, as he has over $152,000 in earnings to this point, with still four months remaining. Those earnings are career best for Zarcadoolas (in terms of yearly), thanks in part to a six-figure score in the $1,100 WPTDS No Limit Hold'em event during the Lucky Hearts Poker Open (3rd for $100,579).
The summer wasn't too bad for Zarcadoolas either, as he cashed in three events, worth over $16,000 in earnings. With the Vegas lights now behind him, Matthew takes his seat in Flight 1D, hoping to find himself a bag for Monday's Day 2.
Other arrivals during break included that of Daniel Genacthe, Ory Hen, and Alexis Hernandez.
