Isle Open Event 7 (Day 2): James Leaves Charlemagne Benjamin On The "Brink" Of Elimination

2017 Isle Open | Event #7
$360 No Limit Hold'em | $200,000 GTD
Level 16 (Blinds 2,000/4,000/500)
Total Entries: 941
Players Remaining: 119

James Brinkley (Florida) turned a set against Charlemagne Benjamin, with his pocket tens besting Benjamin's pocket aces, leaving the latter with just over one big blind.

The action has been pretty fast to start the day, with basically one elimination happening every minute.  While not eliminated from the field, Charlemagne Benjamin (Miami, FL) just saw his pocket aces cracked by James Brinkley (Florida).  Benjamin started the day with 100,000, and Brinkley 65,000, but after a few hands played (and the loss to Brinkley), Charlemagne would be left with less than 5,000 in chips.  He was able to quadruple up the very next hand, so it's possible we can be looking at our first standout storyline of the day.

James Brinkely - 180,000
Charlemagne Benjamin - 23,000
